Supporting Partner for National Workplace Safety and Health Campaign and WSH Carnival 2018
Organised by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and supported by the Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), the National WSH Campaign and WSH Carnival 2018 was launched on 22 April 2018 at Our Tampines Hub.
The Campaign launch was attended by industry partners and organisations who took part in a mass exercise and mannequin challenge in support of the WSH Council’s call for industry to “Take Time to Take Care”. Close to 5,000 participants learned about workplace safety and health in a fun and interactive manner at the full day event.
Guest-of-Honour, Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Manpower and Home Affairs highlighted that safety, health and work are inter-connected and improving the health of our workforce can help reduce safety lapses at work. She also announced the WSH Council’s partnership with Health Promotion Board (HPB) to improve health at workplaces through the WSH Council’s Total WSH framework and services.
